College of Letters & Science, University of California at Berkeley
UC Berkeley's College of Letters & Science needed an information architecture for the web that highlighted the College's research, news and special events, while directing a wide range of users to the information they need. The College wanted a web presence that shows the breadth of their departments as well as the rich history of the university.
To meet these goals, Wired Moon combined strong visuals in a series of collages to identify Letters & Sciences as a powerfully multidisciplinary collection of departments. Despite the complexity of the information, a clean layout accents the content within sections, each of which has a distinct header image montage.
Wired Moon also conducted user testing to discover how the site's potential users interacted with the information. This feedback enabled fine tuning that helps make the site a powerful resource for faculty, graduate students and many others.
